The takeaway
A complete, readable submission helps the review. Only the recorded decision changes your verification status.
Prepare before you upload
Open Identity verification from your signed-in account and choose the document you will actually submit: passport, identity card or driving licence. Match the form to your own document. Photograph it on a plain surface in even light, with all edges visible. Read the image at normal size before continuing. Glare, motion blur and cropped corners can make a photograph unusable even when the file is large.
Use the requested sides and formats
SafeCoin accepts an image up to 15 MB per file. Identity cards and driving licences require both sides; a passport uses the requested identity page. Supported image formats include JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF and TIFF. A bigger file is not automatically clearer. Submit only what the form requests, and do not send documents through a public chat, an article search box or a reply to an unexpected email.
Understand what a status means
Submitting begins a manual review; it is not approval. Return to Identity verification for the current status and any request for clearer information. Approved verification is required before requesting a wallet, while address assignment remains a separate step. No review time is guaranteed. Identity checking is not an assurance of investment performance or proof that a displayed balance exists on-chain. If submission fails, note the error without sharing the document itself in a general support message.
